Oct. 25, Tuesday -- ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù environmental historian Ari Kelman will speak on "Built in Harm's Way: New Orleans' History of Disaster and Renewal" as part of a special seminar series on natural disasters and their consequences at ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù. He is author of "A River and Its City: The Nature of Landscape in New Orleans." Kelman arrived at ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù this fall from the University of Denver. His lecture, part of the Policy Watch Seminar Series sponsored by the Institute of Governmental Affairs, will begin at 12:10 p.m. in the IGA Reading Room on the third floor of the Shields Library.
